This morning was the first day that our advertisement went live in the Darlington & Stockton Times and, to mark the event, we are running a small competition for local people to get some free benefit from the team at Silicon Dales.

We’ve decided to run a Facebook competition based around our local advertising!

Take a picture of one of our advertisements, place it into our Facebook page, and share it with your friends, and you’ll win a free listing for your business in our Yorkshire Dales Directory.

How to Enter

If you:

Discover the Silicon Dales advertisement in the Darlington & Stockton Times (or anywhere else for that matter);
Take a photograph of the advertisement (with a camera phone or otherwise!);
Upload it to the Silicon Dales Facebook Page, and “Share” on your own Facebook stream;
That’s it! Everyone who does the above will win a free listing at our Yorkshire Dales Directory (worth £12 per year) for 2 years.
We will contact you via Facebook to collect your business info for our directory.

The Prize – a Free Directory Listing

We have a Yorkshire Dales Directory for clients and businesses in and around the Yorkshire Dales to achieve placement in our map. Anyone who adds a photo of one of our ads or flyers to our Facebook page, and “Shares” this on their own wall is entitled to a free 2 year listing there. Get on the map. For free!

Directory listings are also free – forever – for any Silicon Dales Web Design customers, too.

One of the reasons we’re running the competition this way is we want to support the use of good local newspapers, like the Darlington & Stockton Times (D&S) for advertising. It is of great benefit to the local community to have such a good local newspaper, and in a time when papers are struggling to compete with online, despite being an almost entirely online business ourselves, we like to support this printed product!
