A lot of novice and experienced webmasters use WordPress. It is the Content Management System (CMS) we often swear by here at Silicon Dales, too, because of its versatility.
We have completed a number of jobs, not least on the Free Sport Bet website, which have required us to implement java script comparison features into WordPress. Specifically, we have been tasked to include Odds Comparison boxes within WordPress websites.
Using a third party tool, this is quite straightforward (though you will have to give away up to 50% of your click-throughs in ‘payment’ for the ease of use). Below is how:
Adding Odds Comparison to WordPress
- Visit ValueChecker Affiliates and Register a new account;
- Add your bookmaker affiliate links into their system;
- Create “Odds Boxes” and save them;
- Grab the odds box javascript for the market you want and copy / paste it into your WordPress post or page.
If you are pasting into your WordPress post or page, be sure to do so in “HTML” view.
If you want to include your odds comparison box within a Sidebar of WordPress, paste it into a “Text” widget.
If you have any problems, feel free to leave a comment (public) below, or contact us for a quote for your website’s design.

A number of people have been discovering this page looking for odds comparison scripts, or html/php code that allows for odds comparison.
If you’d like some code samples for more complex integration, or a starting point for bespoke odds comparison software solutions, I’ve had a long history of developing similar things – just leave a comment!
Also, if you’d like a tutorial for getting started with ValueChecker and WordPress, please just ask. There’s a lot that you can do to get the two technologies combined, so that you can concentrate on content!
VC is a good idea to integrate with wodrpress, but if you want to build a new website, try Ploomo – it is complete CMS with odds comparison module. Now also with Tipster contests.
You can use Ploomo for free!
Value Checker is good for a start but the traffic split is quite big. I was looking around for affiliate comparison tools and I find thatwith American comapnies, the amount they take siphon off the trafic is nowhere as big in comparison to what British comparison take off.
Why such a massive difference from 10% with the Americans to 50% with us?
There is also a lack of bookmakers from what I have seen with bookmakers, whereas with the Americans they have a system where you can just add any bookmaker that you can find which IMO is far better.
Hi Patrick, this is where you need to start getting your business head on. Negotiate. We negotiated a much better commission rate from ValueChecker, and I’m sure anyone with a good level of traffic will be able to do the same.
Much online gambling was made illegal in America, which is one of the reasons we don’t feel able to recommend gambling products from or targeting the USA.
Patrick, I found last time that Ploomo.com offers odds comparison widget with no shared commision, and with 100% clicks for you.
