The Olympic Torch Relay is coming to Aysgarth, and Aysgarth Falls in particular, on Wednesday 20th June 2012, but what route with the eternal flame for London 2012 be taking?
We want to be there when the Olympic Torch passes through Wensleydale, and the rest of North Yorkshire, so, here at Silicon Dales Web Design, we’re using this blog section to help spread the word about what time and where everything will be taking place in our part of the world.
When & Where The Olympic Torch will be Travelling Through Aysgarth Falls
Aysgarth – 12:00 noon start – Torch Relay will start at the junction of the A684 (near Palmer Flatt Hotel – now renamed the Aysgarth Falls Hotel) and end at the National Park Aysgarth Falls Visitor Centre over the river Ure.
